Frank is a BACP accredited counsellor and psychotherapist, working predominantly as a person-centred, humanistic practitioner. That means he offers space and time in a safe, confidential, non-judgemental environment to allow you to discuss problems and difficult feelings or experiences and help you to find a way forwards. Person-centred therapy is non-directive, so you get to choose what to focus on, and the sessions are not time-limited, so you have enough time to work through whatever brings you to therapy.
Frank trained in London before relocating to West Yorkshire to open his private practice in 2022. He works with individuals aged 18 and over, on a wide range of presenting issues, from anxiety, depression and suicidal thoughts, to bereavement, relationship issues, stress and low mood. He is LGBTQ+ affirming and interested in the ways in which our environments impact our mental health and wellbeing.
Frank spent over a decade working as a freelance writer and editor. At heart, he’s passionate about what it means to be human, with all the messiness and difficulties that entails, and the ways in which therapy can be a space to tell – and make sense of – your own story, to take the pieces that don’t seem to add up and find a new way to fit them together.
